In short what I love about being a Personal Trainer is seeing the changes that clients achieve

I’m not talking the typical before and after transformation photos. It is the physical and mental changes they feel.

Moving with confidence.

Moving with less pain.

Able to do activities that they didn’t think they could do.

Confidence from knowing they are taking positive actions for lasting benefits

I have clients who have said ‘I just don’t know what I should do, and what I can do’. A totally understandable position and something that I enjoy exploring with the people that I train. There is nothing better than seeing someone’s confidence in how they move and feel increase, and the enjoyment this brings.

I provide personal training that is challenging but recognises that everyone will be starting at a different point. My training is always tailored to each person’s situation, experience, goals, and preferences. 

As a mature coach I am experienced in working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who are neurodiverse, are affected by anxiety, and who do not feel confident in new settings. 

Be reassured: my style is more calm encouragement than shouty drill-sergeant!

I am also available for 1:1 or small group wellbeing work with young people and adults with learning disabilities.

I enjoy working collaboratively with other professionals and would welcome further opportunities to do this.
